Tutoring 101

This interactive workshop is designed for anyone interested in tutoring, whether as a career, part-time job, volunteer activity, or way to support friends and family. 

In the first half, participants will learn the elements of an effective tutoring session, including how to build rapport, set expectations, assess and support student needs, and handle common challenges. The second half of the workshop will guide participants through the practical steps of starting a tutoring business, from defining clientele and setting policies to marketing and sustaining.

By the end of the session, participants will walk away with strategies to strengthen their tutoring and a roadmap to launch or expand their tutoring journey.
